PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capture notification system capable of determining the type of an animal caught in a trap and notifying the user in real time. SOLUTION: A sensor means for acquiring state information of a trap and its surroundings, a compression means for compressing sensor information acquired by the sensor means to reduce the amount of information, and the compressed sensor information are wirelessly transmitted. A determination to determine the type of animal caught by the trap based on the wireless transmission means to be used, the receiving means for receiving the sensor information wirelessly transmitted by the wireless transmission means, and the sensor information received by the receiving means.
