PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structured and high performance rotary cutter for a bush cutter not incorporating a reel in which a bush cutting cord can be easily attached and detached, vibration during using is substantially small, and holding force of the bush cutting cord is large.SOLUTION: A pushing body always provided with pushing force to a case side or a cover side by an elastic body interposed between a cover and a case is incorporated in a head body comprising the case and the cover, a guide hole for threading a cord is arranged in a radial direction in the pushing body, the pushing body is pushed or pulled, the guide hole for threading the cord and cord entrance and exit hole arranged in the head body are matched.
