PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply producible and processable rotary cutter enabling the winding operation of a cord to be simply and rapidly carried out when exchanging the cord, at an inexpensive production cost.
SOLUTION: The rotary cutter for a bush cutter comprises the cord for carrying out the bush cutting of grass or the like by being rotated, a reel for storing the cord and delivering the cord by being intermittently turned, a case body for storing the reel, a cover for covering the case body, and a pushing body movable in the axis direction by being protruded from the case and being pushed, and for intermittently turning the reel. The reel and the pushing body are constituted of each different bodies, and the pushing body is detachably attached to the case body. A spring for urging the pushing body outward, and a spring for urging the reel to the case side are incorporated in the axis direction, and the reel and the pushing body are each separately elastically supported.
