PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized apparatus for adjusting a paddy water level with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an apparatus for adjusting a paddy water level, the apparatus comprising: a tubular main body 40 having an opening 44 on its side surface a water gate portion 60 accommodated in the vicinity of an opening 44 in the main body 40, the water gate portion having a cylindrical shape with a smaller diameter than the main body 40 and having an opening 64 formed therein and a driving portion 30 for vertically moving the water gate portion 60.
