PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic which has excellent ultraviolet protective effect and also has excellent safety and usability.SOLUTION: The water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic includes the components (A) to (D): (A) para-methoxycinnamic 2-ethylhexyl (B) dimethyl silicone oil whose kinematic viscosity at 25°C is ≤5.0 mm2/s and (C) phenyl modified silicone. Further, the blending amount of the dimethyl silicone oil whose kinematic viscosity at 25°C is ≤5.0 mm2/s is not particularly limited, but, preferably, it is blended by 1.0 to 40.0 mass%. Further, the dimethyl silicone oil whose kinematic viscosity at 25°C is ≤2.0 mm2/s is more preferable.
