A method for treating a patient comprising: (a) providing a composition comprising a population of T cells expressing both a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and a T cell receptor specific for a cytomegalovirus (CMV) antigen； (b) administering the composition to the patient； and (c) administering to the patient a viral vector encoding: (i) CMV pp65 and (ii) a fusion protein comprising exon 4 of CMV protein IE1 (e4) and exon 5 of CMV protein IE2 (e5) either prior to or subsequent to administering the composition comprising a population of T cells to the patient is described.L'invention concerne une méthode de traitement d'un patient consistant à : (a) utiliser une composition comprenant une population de lymphocytes T exprimant à la fois un récepteur antigénique chimérique (CAR) et un récepteur de lymphocytes T spécifique d'un antigène du cytomégalovirus (CMV) ； (b) administrer la composition au patient ； et (c) administrer au patient un vecteur viral codant pour : (i) CMV pp65 et (ii) une protéine de fusion comprenant l'exon 4 de la protéine CMV IE1 (e4) et l'exon 5 de la protéine CMV IE2 (e5) soit avant, soit après l'administration de la composition comprenant une population de lymphocytes T au patient.
