A lumbar corset (10) consisting of a band with two half -parts (11, 12), whose ends (13, 14) form elements for opening and closing of the device which can be closed on the front sector by means of Velcro strips (15), the corset (10) also comprising crossed elastic straps (16) positioned in the rear sector and designed to hold the two half -parts (11, 12) together, and pads (19) consisting of two half-parts (20, 21) made by heat-forming and joined together by a joining element (22), and an additional pad (23) positioned on the front sector and which exerts pressure on the abdominal area both the rear pad (19) and the front abdominal pad (23) being housed in specifically designed pockets in the two half -parts (11, 12) of the corset (10), and remaining firmly anchored in position, these pockets having the same shape and size as the pads they hold.Linvention concerne un corset lombaire (10) constitué dune bande faite de deux demi-parties (11, 12) dont les extrémités (13, 14) forment des éléments douverture et de fermeture du dispositif, lequel peut être fermé sur sa partie frontale au moyen de bandes de Velcro (15). Le corset (10) comprend également des lanières élastiques croisées (16) disposées sur sa partie arrière, qui sont conçues pour maintenir ensemble les deux demi-parties (11, 12), et des coussins (19) composés de deux demi-parties (20, 21) obtenues par thermoformage et reliés entre eux par un élément de liaison (22), plus un coussin supplémentaire (23) qui est situé sur la face avant et qui exerce une pression sur la région abdominale.
