PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pick up an image of a desired image quality with simple operations.SOLUTION: In an X-ray CT apparatus, a detector detects a transmitting X-ray which has been emitted from an X-ray tube and has transmitted a subject. An image reconstruction part reconstructs a positioning image from projection data collected on the basis of a detection signal of the transmitting X-ray in positioning imaging performed at a first tube current value. A detection part detects each of a plurality of regions of the subject included in the positioning image. A storage part stores pieces of information related to the plurality of regions, a plurality of image quality levels for respective pieces of information related to the plurality of regions, and X-ray count values corresponding to respective image levels, in association with one another. A selection part selects a desired region and an image level corresponding to the desired region. An acquisition part acquires a second tube current value on the basis of the first tube current value, an X-ray count value at the time of positioning imaging, and an X-ray count value associated with the selected image level. A control part controls the X-tube ray to perform the main imaging on the basis of the second tube current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】所望の画質の画像を簡易な操作で撮影すること。【解決手段】実施形態に係るX線CT装置において、検出器は、X線管より照射され被検体を透過した透過X線を検出する。画像再構成部は、第1管電流値で実行される位置決め撮影において、透過X線の検出信号に基づいて収集された投影データから位置決め画像を再構成する。検出部は、位置決め画像に含まれる被検体における複数の部位をそれぞれ検出する。記憶部は、複数の部位に係る情報と、複数の部位に係る情報毎に複数の画質レベルと、画質レベルに対応するX線カウント値とを関連付けて記憶する。選択部は、所望の部位と所望の部位に対応する画質レベルを選択する。取得部は、第1管電流値と、位置決め撮影時のX線カウント値と、選択された画質レベルに対応付けられたX線カウント値とに基づいて、第2の管電流値を取得する。制御部は、第2管電流値に基づいて本撮影を実行するようX線管を制御する。【選択図】図2
