The invention relates to a dietary fibre for use in delaying or otherwise reducing a sating effect of a medical nutrition or of a medicament, wherein the medical nutrition or medicament is for oral or gastro-enteric administration by a human. The invention further relates to a method for prophylactically or therapeutically treating a human in need thereof, the treatment comprising administering an effective amount of a dietary fibre, in combination with a pharmaceutical composition or a nutrition as defined in any of the preceding claims, thereby reducing a sating effect of the pharmaceutical composition or the nutrition.
