The invention provides a surface mounted device detection apparatus for detecting arrhythmia by using electrocardiographic signals and a grouping device thereof. The surface mounted device detection apparatus includes a body and a vibration unit, a communication module, a signal pre-processing circuit and a processing unit that are installed inside the body. The body is provided thereon with a surface mounted device joint for joining an external surface mounted device. The communication module is in communicative connection to an external electronic apparatus. The signal pre-processing circuitacquires an electrocardiographic signal from the surface mounted device via the surface mounted device joint, and provides electrocardiographic signal information after the processing of the signals.The processing unit drives the vibration unit to perform vibration so as to prompt alert or alarm in case of arrhythmia of the electrocardiographic signal information.
