A system for selectively actuating a heating current conductible from a bipolar generator to a surgical tool may comprise and actuator assembly having an output receptacle, an input plug, and an actuating component. The output receptacle may be configured to receive a complementary tool plus of the surgical tool. The input plug may be configured for mating with a generator receptacle receivable of the heating current from the bipolar generator. The generator receptacle may be complimentary to the tool plug. The actuating component may have at least one of a switch and a lever arm and may be configured to communicate with the bipolar generator for selectively actuating the heating current to flow from the input plug to the output receptacle upon engagement of the switch of the lever arm.L'invention concerne un système qui permet d'actionner sélectivement un courant de chauffage conducteur d'un générateur bipolaire à un outil chirurgical et qui peut comporter un ensemble actionneur ayant un réceptacle de sortie, une fiche d'entrée et un élément d'actionnement. Le réceptacle de sortie peut être configuré pour recevoir un outil complémentaire en plus de l'outil chirurgical. La fiche d'entrée peut être configurée pour se coupler à un réceptacle de générateur pouvant recevoir le courant de chauffage provenant du générateur bipolaire. Le réceptacle de générateur peut être complémentaire de la fiche d'outil. L'élément d'actionnement peut avoir un commutateur et/ou un bras de levier et peut être configuré pour communiquer avec le générateur bipolaire pour actionner sélectivement le courant de chauffage pour l'amener à circuler de la fiche d'entrée au réceptacle de sortie lors de la mise en prise du commutateur avec le bras de levier.
