PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter and a catheter hub capable of preventing excessive push-in of a male lure taper formed on a connecting device.SOLUTION: A catheter 10 includes: a shaft 20 to be inserted into a living body and a catheter hub 30 provided at the proximal end of the shaft 20 and comprising a hub lumen 34 in communication with a lumen of the shaft 20 and a proximal end opening 35 which is open at the proximal end of the hub lumen 34.
