PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type rice-planting machine, capable of preventing deformation of support metal fittings caused by lateral force applied to grading floats, when the grading floats are slid and turned, so as to turn a machine body, in a state of being grounded. SOLUTION: In this walking type rice-planting machine, right and left wheels 3 are positioned on a machine body frame 1 so as to be independently displaced in an upward and downward direction, and therefore, a position of the machine body in a right and left direction is maintained in a horizontal position or an approximately horizontal position, by relative displacement due to reaction force of grounding of the right and left wheels 3. Further, front parts of the grading floats 18 which are positioned in such a manner as to be upward and downward swung around rear supporting points are each supported on a machine body frame 1 side through the support metal fittings 63, 68 equipped with a vertical wall 63A which extends in the upward and downward direction in a state of having a surface parallel to the right and left direction of the machine body.
