Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine kosmetische Zubereitung enthaltend 1-Piperidincarboxylsäure 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1-methylpropylester (INN: Icaridin) und einen oder mehrere Filmbildner sowie die Verwendung von Filmbildnern in Insektenabwehrmitteln.Cosmetic preparation comprises 0.1-40 wt.% of 1-piperidine carboxylic acid 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1-methylpropylester (I) and 0.1-15 wt.% of film former. Independent claims are included for: (1) a packaging container, which is obtained from polyethylene, polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate containing the cosmetic preparation and (2) a plaster or cloth soaked with the cosmetic preparation. ACTIVITY : Insect Repellent. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
