PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for disposal of a needle unit of a pen-type syringe, which has a small number of parts and does not cause the needle unit to spill out from the container. A needle unit 27 having a hub 26 that surrounds a part of a canula 25 is attached to and detached from a syringe 30 by a screw. In the disposal container 1 of the needle unit 27 of the pen-type syringe, the container 1 projects from the lower part of the cylindrical surface 5 toward the axis S of the cylindrical surface 5 and extends onto the outer peripheral surface of the bab 26 of the inserted needle unit 27. A plurality of engaging protrusions 52 to be engaged and a contact surface 60 on the upper surface of the lid 10 to which the tip surface 32 of the syringe 30 abuts are formed, and the inner diameter is smaller than that of the cylindrical surface 5 and the syringe 30 is inserted into the insertion hole 50. The hub 26 is provided with a flange-shaped outer peripheral regulating portion 6 that regulates the displacement of the hub 26 in the radial direction.
