The present invention relates to an assembly (1) for packaging and application of a cosmetic and/or dermatological composition, comprising a container (2) having an opening (3), an applicator element (4), mounted in such a way as to be freely rotatable, in the vicinity of said opening (3), the applicator element (4) comprising an outer surface which can be brought into fluidic communication with the inside of the container (2), characterized in that the container (2) comprises a cosmetic and/or dermatological composition in the form of a gel having a viscosity at 25° C. of between 0.1 and 60 poises, and comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium: (a) at least 1% by weight of salicylic acid and/or at least one derivative thereof, relative to the total weight of the composition； (b) at least one polyol； and (c) at least one gelling agent.
