PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pearly luster composition by which sufficient pearly luster can be obtained despite a manufacturing process having a simple blending which does not require adjustment of various types of surfactants in a delicate blending ratio, and does not require complicated control of a crystallization operation or use of a special cooling system.SOLUTION: There is provided a pearly luster composition containing fatty acid glycol ester and water, in which the composition contains ether-carboxylic acid type surfactant in an unneutralized state and a neutralized-salt state. It is desirable that the ether-carboxylic acid type surfactant is polyoxyethylene alkyl ether carboxylic acid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
