The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing senkyunolide A as an active ingredient for skin moisturization and, more particularly, to a cosmetic composition which has effects of moisturizing skin, recovering the moisture barrier function of skin layers, and promoting keratolysis by containing senkyunolide A separated from Cnidium officinale Makino. The cosmetic composition in the present invention contains senkyunolide A as an active ingredient, recovers the moisture barrier function of damaged skin layers, and promotes keratolysis with enhanced effects in increasing and maintaining the moisturizing ability, thereby being useful as a cosmetic composition for skin moisturization.본 발명은 생큐노라이드 A를 유효 성분으로 함유하는 피부보습용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 천궁에서 분리된 생큐노라이드 A를 유효성분으로 함유하여 피부보습 뿐만 아니라, 피부 장벽기능 회복 및 각질박리 촉진에 효과가 있는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 화장료 조성물은 유효성분으로 생큐노라이드 A를 함유하여 손상된 피부의 장벽기능을 회복시키고 각질박리를 촉진시키며, 피부 보습력 증가 및 유지에 보다 뛰어난 효과를 나타내므로, 피부보습용 화장료로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
