PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnable armrest enhancing usability and safety of a user.SOLUTION: In the armrest turnably attached to an upper part of a support member and capable of moving from a horizontal state to a state turned upward, the armrest is constituted of a support frame for turnably attaching to the upper part of the support member and an arcuate flat armrest body 20 attached to the upper part of the support frame, a grasping part 22 protruding past the linear end fringe parts is formed in both the end part sides of the body by forming a linear end fringe part 21 corresponding to a chord of an arcuate shape in the inside of the arcuate shape excepting both the end parts of the body in the armrest body, the grasping parts of both the sides and the position of the end fringe part 23 corresponding to the chord of the arcuate shape therebetween are formed as a high face, and a position 24 reaching the end fringe part corresponding to the arc from the linear end fringe part is formed as a low face.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】回動式アームレストにおいて、使用者の使いやすさや安全性を向上させることを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明では、支持部材の上部に回動可能に取り付けて、水平状態から、上方に回動させた状態に至るまで動作可能とした回動式アームレストにおいて、アームレストは、前記支持部材の上部に回動可能に取り付けるための支持枠と、この支持枠の上側に取り付ける弓形状の扁平なアームレスト本体20とから構成し、前記アームレスト本体は、弓形の弦に対応する直線状の端縁部21を、前記本体の両端部側を除いて、弓形の内側に形成することにより、前記本体の両端部側に、直線状の端縁部を越えて突出する握り部22を形成し、それらの両側の握り部と、それらの間の弓形の弧に対応する端縁部23の個所を高い面として形成すると共に、前記直線状の端縁部から前記弧に対応する端縁部に至る個所24を低い面として形成して上述した課題を解決したものである。【選択図】図6
