A radiation imaging apparatus 1 according to an embodiment includes a radiation detection panel 30 having a first surface 31a on which a detection region R is formed and a second surface 31b opposite to the first surface 31a. The radiation detection panel 30 includes a base substrate 20 facing the second surface 31b and having a support surface 20a for supporting the radiation detection panel 30, and a flexible circuit board 40 connected to the radiation detection panel 30. When viewed in the Z direction orthogonal to the surface 20a, the end 21a of the base substrate 20 corresponding to the portion to which the flexible circuit board 40 is connected is located inside the end 31c of the radiation detection panel 30. The base substrate 20 has a protrusion 22 that protrudes outside the radiation detection panel 30 at a position where it does not overlap the flexible circuit substrate 40 when viewed in the Z direction.
