The screening of the low-molecular chemical compound which adjusts protein & protein interaction vis-a-vis the protein which has many irregular arrangements copying factor as beginning, was done, but almost it was impossible to obtain the low-molecular chemical compound which has sufficient activity. As for this inventor, observing to irregularity arrangement in the screening of the protein which adjusts the interaction of the natural denatured protein and the partner protein, doing the screening, furthermore, it made that it can select the chemical compound which efficiently adjusts the activity of the natural denatured protein from the peptide imitation chemical compound which has the peptide side chain and the side chain which resembles to that with the peptide imitation framework, by selecting candidacy chemical compound, clear, made this invention complete.転写因子を始めとして多くの不規則配列をもつタンパク質に対して、タンパク質・タンパク質相互作用を調整する低分子化合物のスクリーニングが行われてきたが、十分な活性をもつ低分子化合物を得ることは、ほとんど不可能であった。本発明者は、天然変性タンパク質とパートナータンパク質の相互作用を調整するタンパク質のスクリーニングにおいて、不規則配列に注目してスクリーニングを行うこと、さらには、ペプチド模倣骨格を持ち、ペプチド側鎖やそれに類似する側鎖をもつペプチド模倣化合物から、候補化合物を選択することにより、効率的に天然変性タンパク質の活性を調整する化合物を選択することができることを明らかにし、本発明を完成させた。
