PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fish culture support tool and a fish culture method, enabling culture with high productivity.SOLUTION: The fish culture support tool includes: a fixing part 20 which is fixed on a bottom of a paddy field 12 having loaches D cultured in a lower end part； and a sheet-like flexible cover part 40 which is supported on a support face by a float part 22 including a support part on an upper end part in a state in which the support face of the float part 22 is covered by an intermediate part of both facing end parts with the fixing part 20 fixed on the bottom of the paddy field 12, and both the end parts hang down. In a state in which the cover part 40 is support on the support face, an opening part is formed between facing parts of the cover part 40 by a weight part 42, and downward tensile force is applied to each of both the end parts of the cover part 40 to allow a loach inhabitation area to be formed inside the cover part 40.【課題】生産性の高い養殖を行うことができる魚養殖支援具および魚養殖方法を得る。【解決手段】下端部にドジョウＤが養殖される水田１２の底に固定される固定部２０を有すると共に、上端部に支持面を有する浮き部２２によって、固定部２０が水田１２の底に固定された浮き部２２の支持面を対向する両端部の中間部により被覆した状態で、支持面で支持されて、両端部が垂れ下がる柔軟性を有するシート状の被覆部４０が支持される。そして、被覆部４０が支持面で支持された状態で、重り部４２によって、被覆部４０の対向する部分の間に開口部が形成され、かつ被覆部４０の内側にドジョウＤが生息する領域が形成されるように、被覆部４０の両端部の各々に対して下方に張力が付与される。【選択図】図２
