Provided herein is a coated stent comprising a stent comprising a plurality ofstent strutseach having an abluminal surface, a luminal surface, and two sidewallsurfaces, and acoating comprising an active agent and a bioabsorbable polymer wherein a ratioof anabluminal coating thickness on the abluminal surface to a luminal coatingthickness onthe luminal surface is at most 90:10. Also provided herein are methods ofpreparing saidcoated stents.
