The present invention provides a portable x-ray device having a housing having a side handle and a rear handle, each having a trigger and an indicator light, in a suitable position for use. The trigger is positioned at the end of each handle and positioned at an angle to be operated by an operator, the trigger of one handle controls the function of the device, and the trigger of the other handle controls the other function.
