PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter hub and a catheter, capable of preventing leakage of blood in a blood vessel to the outside when the catheter inserted into the blood vessel is forwarded to an angiographic site in performing angiography.SOLUTION: A catheter hub 140 disposed on the base end of a catheter body 120 has the following which are formed independently: an injector connecting opening portion 142 which allows an injector for injecting a contrast medium to be connected thereto and introduces the contrast medium from the injector into a hollow path of the catheter body 120 and a guidewire introducing opening portion 144 which introduces the guidewire into the hollow path of the catheter body 120.
