PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excretion sensor and an excretion detector which can reduce an influence of the movement of a human body and can accurately measure a quantity of excretion.
SOLUTION: The excretion detector includes the excretion sensor 1a for detecting a total quantity of a change of impedance of a sensor element arranged outside an absorptive article for absorbing excreta and in a wide range of the absorptive article, an attitude sensor 1b for detecting the attitude of a person to be supported, an attitude deciding part 92 for deciding the attitude of the person to be supported in accordance with an attitude sensor output from the attitude sensor and a urine quantity calculating part 93 for selecting a quantity detecting line of a proper attitude from a plurality of quantity detecting lines showing relations between outputs of the excretion sensor and urine quantities in accordance with the attitude of the person to be supported which is obtained in the attitude deciding part and calculating the urine quantity in accordance with the quantity detecting line of the selected attitude.
