PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat urination by stabilizing the sensitivity of an excretion detection sensor and securely detecting urination in an excretion treating apparatus.SOLUTION: The excretion treating apparatus 100 comprises an excretion receiver 1 and an apparatus body 2. The excretion receiver 1 comprises a receiver body 10 for receiving excretion and the excretion detection sensor 20 for detecting the excretion. The apparatus body 2 comprises a urine tank 51 for storing urine, a vacuum pump 52 for sucking the urine received by the receiver body 10 into the urine tank 51, and a control device 53. The excretion detection sensor 20 has a pair of urine detecting electrodes 21 and 22 for detecting the urine received by the receiver body 10.
