A titanium alloy containing, relative to the total amount, i.e., 100% by atoms (at%), of the titanium alloy, 15-27 at% of tantalum (Ta) and 0-8 at% of tin (Sn), with the remainder being titanium (Ti) and unavoidable impurities. Thus, it becomes possible to provide a titanium alloy which has properties suitable for use as a material for medical devices, a biological material or the like.L'invention concerne un alliage de titane contenant, par rapport à la quantité totale, à savoir, 100 % en atomes (% atomiques), de l'alliage de titane, 15-27 % atomiques de tantale (Ta) et 0-8 % atomiques d'étain (Sn), le reste étant constitué du titane (Ti) et des impuretés inévitables. Ainsi, il devient possible de procurer un alliage de titane qui a des propriétés appropriées pour une utilisation en tant que matière pour des dispositifs médicaux, une matière biologique ou similaires.全体を１００原子％（ａｔ％）としたときに、１５～２７ａｔ％のタンタル（Ｔａ）と、０～８ａｔ％のスズ（Ｓｎ）と、残部がチタン（Ｔｉ）と不可避不純物とからなるチタン合金とした。この結果として、医療機器用材料や生体用材料等として好適な特性を有するチタン合金を提供する。
