PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer which can measure blood pressure in a short time and with a high accuracy by an oscillometric or microphone method.SOLUTION: The electronic sphygmomanometer estimates at least either of a value E_SYS equivalent to the systolic blood pressure and a value E_DIA equivalent to the diastolic blood pressure at the time of pressurization at a cuff pressure. Then it depressurizes at least either of a first pressure section 502 including the value E_SYS equivalent to the systolic blood pressure and a second pressure section 504 including the value E_DIA equivalent to the diastolic blood pressure by a first variation in pressure per unit time and depressurizes the other pressure sections by a second variation in pressure larger than the first variation in pressure.
