The present invention relates to a method for mass extraction of Platycodin D and, more particularly, to a method for mass extraction of Platycodin D, comprising the steps of: reaping one to four-year-old balloon flowers on February and March； washing and selecting the reaped balloon flowers, dividing the balloon flowers into roots and leaves, and then drying and pulverizing the roots and leaves by using firepower at a temperature of 50°；C or lower； and extracting Platycodin D from the pulverized powder. According to the present invention, Platycodin D contained in the balloon flowers can be simply and economically obtained for a short time.
