A body fluid discharge monitoring device includes a base, a motor, a catheter holder, and a liquid level sensor. The motor is mounted on the base. The catheter holder is connected to the motor. The motor can drive the catheter holder to actuate relative to the base. The catheter holder includes a curved holding chamber. The liquid level sensor is adjacent to the holding chamber. In use, a catheter is held in the holding chamber of the catheter holder such that the catheter forms a buffer zone. Body fluid in the catheter first accumulates in the buffer zone. Then, the motor drives the catheter holder to actuate such that the body fluid in the buffer zone flows into a body fluid collection bag connected to the end of the catheter when the liquid level sensor detects a fluid level at a maximum position.
