The present invention provides a method to perform sunlight generation and prevent desertification by using ridges and furrows, to make ridges and furrows in paddies and fields, cover vinyl film on both the ridges and the furrows, and fix a photovoltaic module means on the furrows to reduce plant construction period, costs for a means of support, etc. According to the present invention, farming is performed in the paddies and the fields during a farming season, and sunlight generation is performed in parallel during an off-season, so the sunlight generation is performed while performing farming which is an original purpose of the paddies and the fields, civilization construction and concrete placement for fixing a support of the stand in the paddies and the fields are not performed, and the paddies and the fields are not occupied. The method comprises: a step of making ridges and furrows in a desert a step of covering vinyl film on both the ridges and the furrows and a step of layering the soil means to enable plants to put down roots and live on the ridges, and installing a photovoltaic module means on the furrows. Thus, sunlight generation is performed, and the plants implanted in the furrows are able to live by receiving moisture of dewdrops which are collected from the ridges and are flowing in the furrows. The sunlight is hidden by the ridges, so much sunlight is not received in the furrows, and thereby the plants are not dried. Photovoltaic plants are sequentially constructed in the direction of wind blowing in a desert and operated there.
