PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable sterilization of a bottle with a small amount of hydrogen peroxide even when the running speed of the bottle is increased.
SOLUTION: In this method for sterilization, a condensed mist M of hydrogen peroxide is sprayed toward the opening part 2a of the bottle 2 running at a specified speed from a spray pipe 3 placed at a definite position, and then, while the opening part of the bottle is followed by a nozzle 6, a gas G of hydrogen peroxide is sprayed into the bottle from the nozzle. It is possible thereby to appropriately sterilize the bottle without increasing the amount of feeding of hydrogen peroxide even if the running speed of the bottle is increased to improve productivity of an aseptic package.
