A multi-lumen catheter for monitoring uterine contraction pressure having an elongated body configured and dimensioned for insertion into a bladder of a patient, the catheter having a first lumen, a second lumen, and a first balloon at a distal portion, the first lumen communicating with the first balloon. The second lumen communicates with the bladder to remove fluid from the bladder. The first balloon is filled with a gas to form along with the first lumen a gas filled chamber to monitor pressure within the bladder to thereby monitor uterine contraction pressure of the patient.L'invention concerne un cathéter à lumières multiples permettant de surveiller une pression intra-utérine comprenant un corps allongé conçu et dimensionné pour être inséré dans un utérus d'une patiente, le cathéter possédant une première lumière, une seconde lumière, et un premier ballonnet au niveau d'une partie distale. La première lumière communique avec le premier ballonnet et la seconde lumière possède une ouverture à l'intérieur de l'utérus pour l'injection d'un colorant radiographique ou d'un autre liquide dans l'utérus pour imager la cavité utérine et les trompes de Fallope d'une patiente. Le premier ballonnet contient un gaz pour former avec la première lumière une chambre pour surveiller la pression à l'intérieur de l'utérus pour ainsi déterminer si une pression excessive est appliquée aux trompes de Fallope de la patiente. Un capteur est en communication avec la première lumière pour mesurer la pression autour d'une zone circonférentielle du ballonnet pour mesurer la pression dans l'utérus pour fournir des lectures de la pression intra-utérine.
