The length in the vertical direction of an overlapping section in which the abdominal-side band member overlaps the absorbent body is longer than the length in the vertical direction of an overlapping section in which the back-side band member overlaps the absorbent body. The abdominal-side band member has abdominal-side continuous elastic members disposed continuously from one end to the other end in the horizontal direction, and abdominal-side discontinuous elastic members disposed discontinuously in the horizontal direction. The back-side band member has back-side continuous elastic members disposed continuously from one end to the other end in the horizontal direction, and back-side discontinuous elastic members disposed discontinuously in the horizontal direction. The sum total of the contractive force of the back-side continuous elastic members is greater than the sum total of the contractive force of the abdominal-side continuous elastic members.
