Disclosed are a reverse bottom filtering apparatus and an aquarium using the same. The disclosed reverse bottom filtering apparatus comprises: a filtering apparatus body which is formed as a box with an open upper side and has an inlet formed above one side, and an outlet formed under one side an underwater pump which is joined to the inside of the filtering apparatus body and pumps inserted water to the outlet and a plurality of filters which are joined to the inside of the filtering apparatus body and filter impurities contained in the inserted water. Water on the surface exposed to the atmosphere is inserted with air through the inlet and then oxygen in the air is dissolved in the inserted water. The water is purified, while passing through the filters, and then is discharged through the outlet. Accordingly, the reverse bottom filtering apparatus pumps the water, stored in an aquarium, from the downside to the upside and circulates and purifies the water at the same time.역저면 여과기 및 이를 이용한 수족관이 개시된다. 개시된 역저면 여과기는 상부면이 개방된 함체로 형성되며, 일측면의 상부에는 유입구가 형성되고 그 하부에는 유출구가 형성된 여과기 몸체 상기 여과기 몸체의 내부에 결합되어 유입된 물을 상기 유출구로 펌핑하는 수중펌프 및 상기 여과기 몸체의 내부에 결합되어 유입된 물에 포함된 이물질을 필터링하는 복수의 필터를 포함하며, 대기에 노출된 수면의 물이 상기 유입구를 통해 공기와 함께 유입되어 유입된 물에 공기 중 산소가 용해되고, 상기 필터를 통과하면서 정화되어 상기 유출구를 통해 유출되도록 함으로써, 수족관에 저장된 물을 하부에서 상부로 끌어올려 순환시키면서 정화하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
