PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for continuously removing such water-soluble components in the air as formaldehyde.SOLUTION: The device for removing water-soluble components includes: a rotatable wet filter 4 provided in an airflow path communicating an inlet opening 1 and an outlet opening 2 a tray 5 for reserving water a water tank 6 for supplying water to the wet filter 4 a fan 7 for sending air to the wet filter 4 and an electrode 8 for electrolyzing a gas component dissolved in the water. The collection of water-soluble components with the wet filter 4 achieves a device quieter than a water-spraying type device. In addition, the device is provided with a partition wall 9 to produce a difference in concentration of the water-soluble components included in the tray 5, and the electrode 8 is provided in a water area 10 higher in the concentration of water-soluble components, thus improving the efficiency of removing the water-soluble components.
