PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam aerosol-type hair treatment agent readily uniformly applied to whole hair with foam during application to the hair and having excellent impartment of hair repairing effects with an amino acid or a water-soluble amino acid derivative and a smooth touch of the hair with a high-polymerization dimethylpolysiloxane and persistence thereof after the application.SOLUTION: The foam aerosol-type hair treatment agent is composed of a stock solution comprising (A) the high-polymerization dimethylpolysiloxane having 2,000-10,000 degree of polymerization, (B) the amino acid and/or the water-soluble derivative thereof, (C) a cationic cellulose derivative and/or a nonionic cellulose derivative and (D) water and a propellant.
