PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing a cut ear, promoting formation of adventitious roots from the cut ear to improve the rooting ratio of a plant even when the plant has difficulty in rooting.SOLUTION: The method comprises subjecting at least part of a portion of the cut ear coming in contact with culture media and/or culture soil to supersonic treatment when culturing the cut ear using the culture media and/or the culture soil so as to form the adventitious roots. For example, solid culture media or culture soil wetted with water, commercially available liquid fertilizer or well-known liquid culture media for culturing plant tissues is prepared in an appropriate container, the cut ear is inserted into the culture soil, then the whole of the container is subjected to the supersonic treatment.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】挿し穂からの不定根形成を促進して、難発根性植物に適用した場合にも、その発根性を向上させる、挿し穂の培養方法を提供する。【解決手段】培地及び/又は培養土を用いて挿し穂を培養するにあたり、挿し穂の培地及び/又は培養土と接する部分の少なくとも一部を超音波処理することにより、不定根を形成させる。このため、例えば、適当な容器内に、固体培地、又は、水、市販の液肥もしくは公知の植物組織培養用液体培地で湿潤させた培養土を用意し、これに挿し穂を挿しつけた後、この容器ごと超音波処理を行う。【選択図】なし
