An image interpretation support apparatus includes a centerline creating unit that creates a centerline C on a back image of a subject, and a measurement interval designating unit that receives designation of an arbitrary measurement interval I along the centerline C. A measurement width designation unit that accepts designation of an arbitrary measurement width W directed in the direction of intersection of the center lines C, and a measurement that acquires depth coordinates of each measurement point that is distant from the center line by the measurement width W at each measurement interval I.
