SOLUTION: In the expandable sheet 12, an elastic expandable member present in a corresponding area overlapping an absorbing body 4 and an elastic expandable member present in an area corresponding to a both edge part on the back side of the diaper are severed more finely by either pressure or heating between a first roll 24 and a second roll 25 in a process which passes a continuous base material sheet 12 where a plurality of elastic expandable members 13, 13 ... are provided between sheets 14 and 14 through an elastic body cutter roll device 21 comprising the first roll 24 and the opposing second roll 25, are then severed in the center of the area corresponding to both edge part on the back side of the diaper, and are adhered to the back sheet 2.
