Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Montageadapter zur lösbaren Befestigung eines Sterilüberzugs an einem Objektiv eines Mikroskops, mit einem Durchgang (D) für das darin Einführen des Objektivs, wobei in dem Durchgang eine Drapelinse oder Licht-transparente Scheibe (7) angeordnet ist, derart, dass diese einen schiefen Winkel zur Längsachse des Durchgangs (D) einnimmt und mit einer vorzugsweise manuell betätigbaren Rasteinrichtung (3) für das axiale Halten des Montageadapters am in den Durchgang (D) eingeführten Objektiv.
