PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for welfare which can be applied as various care appliances such as a bath stretcher.SOLUTION: A tool 1 for welfare comprises an expanded metal 1A. The expanded metal 1A is a metallic net, and irregularities are formed on cross parts of diamond-shaped mesh parts. In addition the tool 1 for welfare has a resin coating layer 1B covering whole surface of the expanded metal 1A, and having thickness thicker than nylon coating. The resin coating layer 1B uses PVC excellent in water repellent property, and thickness of it is in a range of 1 mm to 4 mm. By coating of the thick resin coating layer 1B, thicknesses of the irregularities of the cross parts of the mesh parts of the expanded metal 1A are increased, and the irregularities which are smoothly coated by the resin coating layer 1B form cross parts CP. Therefore, between the side face part 1BSS and cross part CP forming each mesh part NP, a step forming a space SP is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】入浴担架等の様々な介護用設備としての適用性がある福祉用器具を実現する。【解決手段】福祉用器具1はエキスパンドメタル1Aを有する。エキスパンドメタル1Aは金属製のネットであり、菱形の網目部の交差部には凹凸部が形成される。更に、福祉用器具1は、エキスパンドメタル1Aの表面全体を被覆しており、ナイロンコーティング時よりも厚い肉厚を有する樹脂コーティング層1Bを有する。樹脂コーティング層1Bには、撥水性に優れたPVCが用いられ、その厚みは1mm乃至4mmの範囲内の値である。肉厚の樹脂コーティング層1Bの被覆によりエキスパンドメタル1Aの網目の交差部の凹凸部の厚みはより一層に大きくなり、樹脂コーティング層1Bにより滑らかにコーティングされて成る凹凸部が、交差部CPを形成する。そのため、網目部NPを成す側面部1BSSと交差部CPとの間には、スペースSPを生み出す段差が生じる。【選択図】図1
