The invention relates to a portable apparatus for dental wax modeling, used by dental technicians and dentists. According to the invention, the apparatus is made of a control box (CC) and a hand tool (IM), the control box (CC) is connected to an electric power source through a cable (18) and a plug (19) and it is provided with an on/off button (20), and a thermostat (21) for adjusting the wax melting temperature, the hand tool (IM) has the shape of a fountain-pen and consists of a cylindrical body (1), which is conical outside and concave inside, having a copper flanged guide ring (12), wherein, a modeling tip (11) is mounted by intermediary adjustment, the body (1) being mounted by sliding and rotation on a central cylindrical body (2) made of thermosetting plastics, wherein a thin-walled copper guide cylinder (6) is mounted, inside of which a piston (7) moves longitudinally, with slide clearance, actuated as a nut by a leading screw (4) coupled to a reducer (9) and a motor (8) both parts are embedded in a cover (3) mounted by clips at the end of the central body (2), opposite to the cylindrical body (1), in the front side of the central body (2), and in the place of coupling with the cylindrical body (1), in a cylindrical cavity of limited length, a resistor (5) is mounted to provide the melting of the end of a wax block (10), provided with a central orifice larger than the diameter of the leading screw (4).Invenţia se referă la un aparat portabil pentru modelare cu ceară dentară, utilizat de către tehnicianul dentar şi medicul stomatolog.
