The present invention provides a composition for inhibiting the lead-ion induced inflammation, which comprises the application of EGFR inhibitor or EGFR siRNA to inhibit the performance of the EGFR, so as to block the generation of inflammation substance of PGE2. The present invention indicates that by blocking the activation of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), severe inflammation caused by lead metal can be effectively suppressed.
