PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the connection state of a supply nozzle and various kinds of caps when the supply nozzle is automatically connected to the caps of various kinds of conduits of an endoscope.
SOLUTION: The endoscope washing and disinfecting apparatus 2 is used for automatically washing and disinfecting a used endoscope 20. A control part 102 provided inside drives a flow sending part 101 to send fluid, simultaneously drives an automatic attachment part 105 to automatically connect a first fluid supply unit 50 to a mounting part 23 for the conduit, then compares the flow rate of the fluid detected by a flow rate detection part 100 and normal flow rate range data stored beforehand in a data recording part 103, decides the connection state of the mounting part 23 for the conduit of the endoscope 20 and the first fluid supply unit 50 on the basis of the compared result, and when the connection state is a non-connection state, generates signals for raising an alarm and outputs them to a result display part 104.
