An expandable mammary tissue implant including a shell having an anterior face (705) and a posterior face (702), the anterior face having an upper pole portion and a lower pole portion meeting at an apex, and an injection zone (740) for receiving fluid therethrough to inflate the implant. The implant further includes a vertical tether member (700) having first and second ends (718a, 718b) and a central region (712) therebetween having an aperture (716) therethrough. The central region is coupled to the anterior face of the implant at a location such that the injection zone is positioned within the aperture in the central region. The first and second ends of the vertical tether member are coupled to the posterior face of the implant.Linvention concerne un implant de tissu mammaire expansible comprenant une enveloppe possédant une face antérieure (705) et une face postérieure (702), la face antérieure possédant une partie de pôle supérieur et une partie de pôle inférieur se rencontrant au niveau dun sommet, et une zone dinjection (740) permettant de recevoir un fluide à travers celle-ci pour gonfler limplant. Limplant comprend en outre un élément dattache vertical (700) possédant des première et seconde extrémités (718a, 718b) et une région centrale (712) entre celles-ci possédant une ouverture (716) à travers celle-ci. La région centrale est accouplée à la face antérieure de limplant à un emplacement tel que la zone dinjection est positionnée au sein de louverture dans la région centrale. Les première et seconde extrémités de lélément dattache vertical sont accouplées à la face postérieure de limplant.
