Disclosed are a device for measuring a focal position of an X-ray tube capable of accurately measuring a focal position of an X-ray tube, and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for measuring a focal position of an X-ray tube comprises: an X-ray tube generating X-rays and including an exit flange through which the X-rays pass； a grid attenuating a scattered ray of the X-rays； a detection unit detecting a grid image of the X-rays passing through a subject； and a measurement unit measuring a focal position.
