PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer and a charging unit for the same, charging a secondary battery at high reliability by simple work.SOLUTION: This sphygmomanometer 100 includes: an inflatable/deflatable air bag 20 supplied with air a bag-shaped cover 12 storing the air bag 20 and mounting the air bag 20 to a portion to be measured an inflating/deflating mechanism 44 for inflating/deflating the air bag 20 and a power supply 50 provided in the interior of the bag-shaped cover 12. The power supply section 50 includes a battery 51 for supplying power for driving to the inflating/deflating mechanism 44, and a non-contact power receiving section 52 receiving the power for charging the battery 51.
