PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for repelling harmful insects and harmful animals, preventing feeding damage and disease damage caused by harmful insects and harmful animals in crop and flower growing areas, fruit farms, plantations or the like over a long period.SOLUTION: At least 13 or more kinds of vegetable extracts having repellency to harmful insects and harmful animals, water and ethanol are mixed at desired concentrations to obtain a preparation. The preparation is further mixed with a viscous film forming agent to obtain a repellent liquid having a viscosity of 500 to 3,000 poises, and further, the same is impregnated and adsorbed on an adsorption member with a narrow width shape or a sheet shape made of a fabric, a knitted fabric, a nonwoven fabric or tissue paper.【課題】 農作物や花卉育成栽培地や果樹園、植林等における害虫や害獣による食害や病害を長期に亘って防止する、害虫及び害獣忌避材を提供する。【解決手段】 害虫や害獣に対して忌避性を有する植物性抽出エキスを少なくとも１３種以上と水及びエタノールとを所望濃度に混合して調整液となしたうえ更に粘性被膜形成剤を混合して粘度を５００乃至３０００ポイズの忌避液となしたうえ、織物や編物、不織布、薄葉紙からなる細幅状或いはシート状の吸着部材に含浸吸着させる。【選択図】図３
